WORKS
Work is organized across two ongoing bodies: Mythic Language and Threshold Fields
MYTHIC LANGUAGE
A system of symbols where identity, repetition, and figure emerge through distortion
Mythic Language is an ongoing body of painting that operates within image, symbol, and narrative through a distilled visual system. The works function as fragments within a larger structure, where repetition, gesture, and reduction accumulate meaning over time. Rather than illustrating fixed stories, the paintings remain open, allowing myth to emerge through sustained authorship and disciplined studio practice.
THRESHOLD FIELDS
A field condition where form dissolves, reconstitutes, and holds tension in real time
Threshold Fields is a body of painting centered on surface, spatial tension, and the dynamics of presence and absence. The works operate as fields of negotiation, where forms emerge, recede, and reorganize across the canvas. Structure and pressure guide perception, creating environments that are experienced rather than resolved.
